Anakin Skywalker Profile
As a boy Anakin was a slave boy on Tatooine, before the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn came and freed him. Qui-Gon believed he was the Chosen-one. But the Council did not agree. When Qui-Gon was killed by Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi vowed to train Anakin, despite the reservations of Jedi Master Yoda. Anakin grew in power as he became a teenager, but felt frustrated by Kenobi's instruction, and he became increasingly willful and disobedient. Anakin was reunited with Padme Amidala ten years after the Battle for Naboo when he and his master were ordered by the council to protect her. Anakin immediatly felt an irrestible attraction to the beautiful Senator. Anakin and Padme then fell deeply in love with eachother, which was forbidden for a Jedi at the time.
Then Anakin took a big step toward the dark side when he and Padme went to Tatooine to find his mother, Shmi. He had not seen his mother in ten years, and he had been having nightmares about her for weeks before he returned to Tatooine. Shmi had been abducted by Tusken Raiders for many days, and when Anakin finally tracked her down, she died in his arms. Filled with rage, anger and hate he killed all the Tusken Raiders at the camp, even the women and the children.
Anakin then left Tatooine to rescue his master who had been captured on Geonosis. Anakin then took part in the Battle of Geonosis and fought with Count Dooku alone after the Sith Lord had wounded Obi-Wan. As strong with the force Anakin was, he was no match for Dooku, who severed his right arm.
Immediatly after the Battle of Geonosis, Anakin escorted Padme back to Naboo and the two got married secretly. Anakin then returned to the Jedi Order on Coruscant to fight with them in the Clone Wars. It was during this stressful time that Anakin gave in the Dark side.
He succumbed to the dark side and was consumed by the persona of Darth Vader, the Lord of the Sith. He helped exterminate the Jedi and ensure the total domination of his new master, Emperor Palpatine. They ruled together for several decades before his son, Luke attempted to save his father from the dark side. As Emperor Palpatine was killing Luke, Vader gave in, throwing the Emperor down the Death Star's reactor core. But Vader's mechanical suit was damaged and failing. After a short conversation with Luke, he died. Luke brought the body back to Endor, where he had a funeral for his father by himself.
